Delaware County approves $686,101 in claims, records major special fund allocations

The Delaware County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 13 unanimously approved payment of claims and recorded special-fund allocations totaling $686,101.28 across general, highway, health and special funds.

Commissioner David Beck moved to approve the schedule of claims and Commissioner David Poindexter seconded; the motion carried on a unanimous roll call. The list included a $363,214.42 invoice to Myers-Cherry Construction for fairgrounds work, a $300,000 Sheriff Funding Assistance grant entry, and large road and bridge allocations totaling $230,730.44.
