Commissioner Greg Jones moved to approve the extension; Commissioner Barry W. Robbins seconded. The motion was recorded as approved 2-0 with Commissioners Robbins and Jones in agreement. Commissioner Robby Staten was marked as absent in the minutes. Chairman Jevin Jensen, County Administrator Mark Gibson and County Attorney Robert Smalley were noted as present during the special called meeting at Edwards Park Community Center.
The extension covers the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors of the Wells Fargo Bank building and continues occupancy beyond the current lease expiration date of June 30, 2021. The motion text recorded in the minutes specifies that the extended agreement allows the county to terminate the lease upon giving the lessor 120 days' written notice.
