Tift County approves Revize website agreement; staff to negotiate $5,744 in optional services

The Tift County Board of Commissioners on Monday authorized staff to move forward with a website redesign agreement with vendor Revize, approving the contract on the condition that county staff continue negotiating the price of optional services.
County Clerk Miriam Jordan told the board that, with the county’s new logo and seal adopted, Revize offered to redesign the county website at no baseline charge. Revize also proposed optional additional services not currently part of the county’s site; those add-ons would cost $5,744. Jordan said staff will work with Revize to reduce the scope or cost of those extras. Commissioner Greg Wood moved to approve the agreement with the understanding staff will negotiate costs; Commissioner Melissa Hughes seconded the motion, which carried 6-0. Funding for the work will come from the General Fund.
The board did not vote on specific optional features or finalize the negotiated price during the meeting. The motion authorized staff to execute the agreement and continue negotiations on the additional services and cost.
Next steps: county staff will negotiate scope and pricing for optional services with Revize and return to the board if material changes to cost or scope are required.
