Carter suggested membership for the review panel include judges, the district attorney/solicitor’s office, county commissioners, county staff, the clerk of court, and the downtown development authority.
The workshop discussion focused on procedural steps: issuing an RFQ for design firms, establishing the stakeholder committee to vet qualifications, and returning recommendations to the Board for selection. No firm was chosen at the workshop.
The Board indicated the item should move forward to the regular agenda for consideration of the RFQ and stakeholder committee process.
