Commission reappoints two members to Industrial Development Authority, approves 4‑H funding and DOT grant

Resolutions reappointing Linda Beck and Walter Miller to five‑year terms on the Industrial Development Authority (terms expiring June 30, 2029) were adopted by the board. Both reappointments were approved by motion and second and recorded in the minutes as unanimous votes.
Other agenda actions recorded in the minutes include: a motion to table budget amendments (motion by Commissioner Frost; vote recorded unanimous); approval of a 4‑H renewal and request for funding (motion by Commissioner Frost; second by Commissioner Biddle; unanimous vote); and approval of a DOT roundabout relocation grant (motion by Commissioner Hoyte; second by Commissioner Biddle; unanimous vote). The conditional‑use permit for 110 Stagecoach Road was tabled until Dec. 3, 2024 (or until judgment), with Commissioner Hoyte recorded as abstaining from that vote.
