Chairman Charles Coffey read the proclamation, which notes Burgamy’s role in the library’s renovation, the creation of a reading garden and her work with children and literacy programs. Commissioner Timothy Biddle and County Manager Thomas Weaver both attended Burgamy’s retirement event and praised her local contributions.
Commissioners thanked Burgamy for her service and extended best wishes upon her retirement, effective March 1, 2025, as recorded in the proclamation.
