The motion to appoint Coffey was moved by Commissioner Gerald Douglas and seconded by Commissioner Jason Frost; Commissioner Damon Hoyte voted against the appointment and the motion carried.
The board subsequently named Commissioner Timothy Biddle as vice‑chair on a unanimous vote after Commissioner Frost moved the nomination and Commissioner Douglas seconded. The commission approved multiple minutes records from December 2024 — including the Dec. 3 regular meeting and Dec. 23 work session minutes — by unanimous votes.
