The meeting opened at 7:00 p.m. and, after routine minutes approvals and reports, council took up legislation. Ordinance No. 2025-43, repealing Section 1373.01 ("Flooring") of the Parma Heights Codified Ordinances, was moved by Councilwoman Palmisano, seconded by Councilwoman Maruschak, and passed by roll-call vote with all present councilmembers voting aye. Ordinance No. 2025-44, repealing Section 1373.06 ("Bathrooms"), was similarly moved, seconded and passed unanimously.
Council suspended the rules and passed Resolution No. 2025-67 to accept the amounts and rates determined by the budget commission and to authorize necessary tax levies; the motion passed on a unanimous roll call.
