The Manti City Council voted on several procedural items during its regular meeting on Feb. 18, 2026.
The council approved the minutes from the Feb. 4, 2026 meeting on a motion by Councilmember Mary Pipes, seconded by Councilmember Brian Francois; the vote was unanimous. The council also voted unanimously to cancel the March 18, 2026 meeting after a motion by Councilmember Brian Francois with a second from Councilmember Meagan Johnson. Councilmember AJ Mower moved to approve city bills and payroll; Councilmember Jennifer Christiansen seconded, and the council voted unanimously to approve the bills and sign them after adjournment.
Near the end of the evening the council voted unanimously to adjourn the regular session and move into a closed session to discuss current litigation and personnel matters; the motion to move to closed session was made by Councilmember Jennifer Christiansen and seconded by Councilmember Meagan Johnson. The regular meeting adjourned at 7:32 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for March 4, 2026.
