On technology procurement the court awarded a three‑year web‑hosting and email contract to HostGator at a total contracted cost of $1,078.20 after reviewing a comparison with QX.net. The court also approved Interstate Security's $1,199 quote to outfit the Fiscal Court meeting room with a mini PC, 2 TB external drive and webcam for recording and livestreaming, with an optional sound bar available.
Other approvals included a Planning & Zoning vehicle purchase (2016 Ford Explorer) for $16,450 from Chicago Motors Inc., a concrete slab at the Recycling Center by Keller Concrete for $3,950, and two‑year extended warranties for two road tractors at $3,000 each. The court also declared a 1999 John Deere loader surplus for disposal by public auction.
Esq. Beaverson repeatedly moved and seconded several vendor awards; many procurement motions were approved by roll‑call vote. The court asked for additional flooring quotes and deferred that decision.
