The court voted to table the second reading and approval of an ordinance to change zoning for a 4.996‑acre property at 209 Devils Hollow Road (PVA Map #049‑00‑00‑020.00) from Rural Residential B (RB) to Industrial Commercial (IC). The tabling motion was made by Squire Eric Whisman, seconded by Squire Scotty Tracy, and passed unanimously.
The court approved on second reading an ordinance to change zoning for a 56.0‑acre property at 2486 Cedar Road (PVA Map #098‑00‑00‑0.20.00) from Rural Residential (RR) to Agricultural (AG); the motion carried unanimously.
On a separate ordinance amendment, the court approved changes to Sections 155.010 (Definitions) and 155.085 (Table of Permitted Uses) of the Franklin County Code of Ordinances to remove 'Residential Recovery Facility' as a conditional use in the Rural Residential B Zoning District and to add language to the definition. That motion (moved by Squire Sherry Sebastian and seconded by Squire Scotty Tracy) passed 5‑2; Squires Kelly Dycus and Richard Tanner voted in opposition.
