Residents press Fleming County Fiscal Court on private road adoption and ask about upcoming solar projects

The court also considered a request for county contribution toward steps at the Recreation Park Middle School ball field and discussed the need for a complete cost estimate, a proper drainage plan and ADA compliance information before any decision. The court tabled the funding request pending additional information, including the percentage contribution expected from county, city and school district sources.
County Attorney Monica Hill and County Judge/Executive Larry H. Foxworthy were involved in the exchanges; no formal directive or vote to adopt the private lane or to fund the ball-field steps was recorded. The tile installation guideline amendment (changing a 20-foot tile requirement to a 24-foot requirement) was discussed and placed on the next agenda for further consideration.
