Council also approved fiscal year 2020-21 budget adjustments that moved funds between line items to cover current needs. Richards characterized the proposed FY2021-22 budget as conservative and primarily directed toward capital projects, with a notable allocation for the municipal pool.
The tentative budget approval is a procedural step that allows town staff to proceed with the next tasks required by local budget law; the council recorded the motions and unanimous votes on the record. No public objections to the budget or fee schedule were recorded during the meeting.
