Commission approves committee appointments, judicial commissioners and six notaries

At its Oct. 16 meeting, the Franklin County Commission approved a slate of committee and board appointments and reappointments, including judicial commissioners, recreation and safety committee memberships, and members of boards such as the Emergency Service Board. The commission also approved six applicants for notary public by roll-call vote, 15–0.
The nominations came from the Nominating Committee and the County Mayor’s office; several standing committees were finalized for 2018 assignments and committee chairs were confirmed. Details for each appointment and the notaries are recorded in the county meeting minutes and the clerk’s office.
