County finance director presents August reports; commission receives committee files

Finance Director Andrea Smith presented the county’s revenue and expenditure reports for August 2017, including detailed tables for the General Fund, School funds, Highway, Solid Waste and Debt Service. The Finance Committee had earlier reviewed the material and recommended sending the school budget amendment to the full commission.
The commission voted to receive and file the finance director’s report and a set of departmental and committee reports, including trustee interest earned and the Local Option Sales Tax analysis for August. Committee minutes from Legislative, Finance and Nominating committees were also presented to the commission and received by unanimous voice vote.
Finance staff noted year-to-date figures in the meeting packet; copies of the full revenue and expenditure tables are available from the Finance Director’s office and in the meeting attachments on file with the county clerk.
