Bland County approves payroll, bills and school requisition as part of consent agenda

At its Oct. 25, 2022 meeting, the Bland County Board of Supervisors approved the consent agenda, which included routine payrolls, vendor payments and appropriations.
Supervisor Stephen Kelley moved to approve the consent agenda; Supervisor Keith Costello seconded. The consent package included payroll issued 09-30-2022 in the amount of $121,679.19 and payroll issued 10-14-2022 in the amount of $113,884.65; bills for September 2022 totaling $96,813.31 and bills for October totaling $369,074.09; appropriation of the August 2022 Social Services' local allotment of $13,917.09; and the Bland County School Board's November 2022 requisition in the amount of $887,126.08. The board recorded a roll-call vote with Mr. Kelley, Mr. Costello and Mr. Kidd voting yea; the motion passed unanimously.
