At its May 28 meeting the Benzie County Board of Commissioners approved three separate administrative actions.
The board authorized an access easement with the Zetterberg Family Trust to allow access to the family’s property off Point Betsie Road and authorized the Chair to sign the easement documents; the Zetterberg family is responsible for recording the documents with the Register of Deeds.
The board authorized a five-year Memorandum of Understanding with the Michigan Department of Corrections to provide a printer/copy/scan/fax machine for the Parole and Probation office and authorized the Chair to sign the agreement.
The board also authorized submission of a notice of intent to regionalize the county’s Materials Management Plan with Grand Traverse and Leelanau counties and directed administration to submit that notice through the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy (Materials Management Division). The board accepted county Approval Agency responsibilities for the rewrite process.
All three motions passed by roll call with no recorded nays in the meeting minutes.
