These three capital-repair items carried on roll call with all present commissioners voting aye.
The board also accepted a three-year HVAC maintenance proposal from Hurst Mechanical (proposal dated March 25, 2024) for ongoing maintenance of the Jail Building HVAC system not to exceed $6,440 annually, with funds from the Jail and General Funds. That motion carried on roll call with Commissioner Sauer recorded as the lone dissenting vote.
Separately, the board approved an agreement with House Arrest Services, Inc., for electronic monitoring programming as prepared by legal counsel and authorized the chair to sign; the sheriff was present to answer questions. The motion carried by roll call with all present commissioners voting aye.
