Fulton County commissioners approve routine minutes, payroll and payables, reappoint planning and conservation members and authorize Treasurer office changes

Fulton County commissioners on Dec. 9 completed routine administrative business including minutes, payroll and payables, multiple reappointments and bank-authorized signer changes.
The board approved the Nov. 25, 2025 meeting minutes and payroll dated Dec. 12, 2025 in the amount of $151,302.01. Commissioners then approved payables dated Dec. 9, 2025 totaling $152,517.49; the clerk read the fund-by-fund breakdown into the record, including $94,208.66 for the General Fund and $28,746.70 for Debt Service. Motions on those items were recorded as all in favor.
The board approved Planning Commission reappointment letters for Paula Shives, James Gress, Jeremy Fletcher and Tim Newman to four-year terms ending Dec. 31, 2029, and a Conservation District Director reappointment for Russell McLucas for a four-year term ending Dec. 31, 2029.
Commissioners also approved execution of Community State Bank documents to add or remove authorized check signers because of a transition in the Treasurer’s Office and authorized changes to the Treasurer’s Office operating procedures as presented by Interim County Treasurer Amy Bishop. The minutes record the motions as approved with all in favor.
County staff met with Executive Development Director Julie Dovey, Executive Program Director Elen Ott and Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville to discuss Phase II renovations for the upper level of a newly purchased building on Lincoln Way West; no procurement or budget motion on renovations was recorded in the minutes.
