The application packet was submitted ahead of the May 15, 2023 deadline, and staff will present to award judges on May 24; Joe Perry is handling the video portion of the presentation.
Mixon characterized the program as a model other counties might adopt to reduce litter; no funding or program changes were proposed at the May 9 meeting. The announcement was part of the County Administrator's report and did not require council action.
