Item 7.6 corrected the funding sources for the purchase of three rescue pumpers from Toyne, Inc., totaling $1,664,401, split as $1.2 million from ARPA funds and $464,401 from the Fire District Fund.
The consent agenda also included a motion to issue a letter of support (item 7.5) to the Tifton-Tift County Disability and Aging Board for Independence, a motion to approve an alcohol beverage license application submitted by Nehaben Patel for retail malt beverage and retail wine packages for Jogni, LLC at 5070 GA Highway 125 (item 7.7), and a motion authorizing staff to submit an ACCG Employee Safety Grant application to purchase high-visibility reflective rain jackets for the sheriff’s department (item 7.8). The grant authorization is an application only; any purchase would depend on award and available funding.
Commissioner Donnie Hester moved to approve the consent agenda as read by the chairman; Commissioner Paul Webb seconded. The motion carried, 6-0, approving items 7.3 through 7.8 as a block. The board then proceeded to the regular agenda.
