Tift County staff used the Dec. 5 workshop to review several operational items the Board indicated it would place on the Dec. 11 Consent Agenda or Regular Agenda.
Chief Tax Appraiser Hayward Becton described a $24,727.45 contract with Data Cloud Solutions that would allow field appraisers to collect and enter data on handheld iPads with automatic synchronization to the county's CAMA system. Becton said the system would "reduce the amount of printing and paper use by the appraisers as well as increase productivity and allow for more parcel reviews."
