The commission approved purchase of 0.504 acres for $4,082.40 and 0.041 acres for $332.10 to meet safety standards (motion by Karsky, seconded by Beninga; 5 ayes).
The purchases were presented as necessary to advance upcoming construction and to apply FHWA-recommended countermeasures in locations identified by the historical crash review. No litigation or contested condemnation proceedings were recorded; votes were unanimous.
