Conewago supervisors approve $100,258.33 in checks, extend Lutzkanin temporary use and adopt Deodate Road speed limit ordinance

Chair Mimi Legro moved to approve the check detail in the amount of $100,258.33, subject to audit; Supervisor Frank Graybill seconded and the motion carried. Legro then moved to approve meeting minutes from May 5 and May 19, 2025; Vice‑Chair Mike Long seconded and both motions carried unanimously.
On an engineer recommendation, Vice‑Chair Long moved to extend the temporary Certificate of Use for the Lutzkanin property through July 31, 2025. Graybill seconded and the motion passed. Later in the agenda Legro moved to adopt Ordinance 2025‑003 setting the speed limit on Deodate Road as presented; Long seconded and the ordinance was adopted unanimously.
The board also authorized the engineering firm Nikolaus & Hohenadel to issue a Request for Proposal to providers for a "Yoga in the Park" program; that motion passed on a unanimous voice vote. Discussion of a skid‑loader rental was tabled, and routine road and Conewago Place reports were noted with no action recorded. The meeting adjourned at 7:30 p.m.
