Conewago Township residents used the public-comment period on June 2 to press the Board of Supervisors about local road maintenance and recent clearing at a nearby property.
Jon Crist said he wanted the board to be aware of Derry Township planning activity and expressed concern about clearing at 2758 Church Road in connection with a house build. Resident Jay Brandt raised additional road concerns for the township to review. Beth Hummer asked which portion of Church Road the township is responsible for maintaining; Vice‑Chair Mike Long said he would look at a map with her and follow up. Hummer also asked that leaf collection be added to the board's September agenda.
The board did not take immediate action during the public-comment period beyond Long's offer to review the map and the scheduling request. No formal directives, permits, or enforcement actions were recorded in the meeting minutes for these comments. Further action, if any, would appear on a future agenda or in staff follow-up.
