Residents press Conewago supervisors on speeding, truck traffic and leaf pickup; board to request PennDOT study

On leaf pickup, Dan King (representing Laurel Woods and The Pines) and Maggie McDonald said unattended leaf piles pose a public-safety fire risk and urged the township to resume municipal leaf pickup, with King suggesting the service be funded by per-capita taxes. The minutes record that Russell Mull cautioned that leaf pickup could be a substantial expense and that the township was seeking an updated cost opinion.
Jon Crist raised a separate concern that Comcast/Xfinity is overcharging township residents; the minutes record the concern but do not show follow-up action recorded at the meeting.
