The Conewago Township Board of Supervisors voted March 17, 2025, to give a 3% pay increase to a group of township employees, effective Jan. 1, 2025. The action took place during the Board’s advertised workshop meeting in Elizabethtown.
Chair Mimi Legro moved to approve the wage increase, and Supervisor Frank Graybill seconded the motion. The motion passed “all in favor,” with members present recorded as voting in favor. The board recorded the motion as carried.
The increase applies to the following listed employees: Ken Houser (employee), Jeremy Lingle (employee), Karen Brandt (Treasurer/Assistant Secretary), John DeRemer (employee), Ralph Hoerner (employee), Skylor Sweigart (employee), Sherry Weaver (employee) and Jessica Hunt (Secretary). The motion specified the raise rate (3%) and an effective date of Jan. 1, 2025.
The vote followed an executive-session interval earlier in the meeting; no additional financial breakdowns, cost estimates or funding sources for the raises were stated in the meeting record.
The board adjourned the workshop at 3:01 p.m.
