Parma Heights council refers yard-structure ordinance to Planning Commission

The council heard first readings of several ordinances, including Ordinance No. 2025-96, "Yard Structures and Landscape Features," which Clerk Barbara Allen read aloud. Council President Tom Rounds stated, "this is this ordinance's first reading." Following the reading, Councilwoman Durichko moved to refer Ordinance No. 2025-96 to the Planning Commission for further review; Councilwoman DeSouza seconded the motion. Clerk Barbara Allen called the roll and recorded the vote as Aye: DeSouza, Kolezynski, Durichko, Maruschak, Vanek and Rounds. The motion carried and the ordinance was forwarded to the Planning Commission.
