Parma Heights council approves dispatch-sharing deal, drive-through permit and police contract

Parma Heights City Council on Jan. 26 approved several measures on a largely unanimous series of roll-call votes, including an intercity dispatch agreement, a conditional-use permit for a drive-through, an MOU on stormwater services and a collective bargaining agreement for patrol officers.
Council moved quickly through multiple ordinances during the legislative portion of the meeting. On third reading the council passed Ordinance No. 2025-104, authorizing the administration to enter into a cooperative agreement with the City of Parma for public safety dispatch services. Councilman Vanek moved for passage and the roll call showed approval by the seated council members.
