Henefer council approves two new business licenses

HENEFER, Utah — The Henefer Town Council on Feb. 3 unanimously approved business licenses for Summit Garage Doors LLC and Iron Creek Kids Co. LLC, clearing the way for two local entrepreneurs to operate in town.
Jason Stolle described Summit Garage Doors as a part-time business performing residential and commercial garage-door repairs. After his presentation Mayor Kay H. Richins called for a motion; Councilmember Steven Dallin moved to approve the license and Alec Deru seconded. The motion passed unanimously among the three members present. Chad West and Rush Hotchkiss were recorded as absent.
Kaitlyn Hale told the council she sells her own children’s clothing brand online under Iron Creek Kids Co. LLC. The council approved that license in the same manner — a motion from Dallin, a second from Deru, and a unanimous vote of those present.
The approvals were routine and no conditions or contingencies were recorded in the meeting minutes. The council’s actions allow both businesses to operate subject to any required town regulations and licensing steps.
The council adjourned after completing its agenda at 9:04 p.m.
