Commissioner Vincent Svec moved to accept donations of $1,530 on behalf of the BHRC and $1,000 from the Burleson County Fair Association designated for Constable Precinct 2; Commissioner Dwayne Faust seconded the motion and the court voted unanimously to accept the gifts. The donations were presented as part of the consent agenda.
The court also approved the deputation of Reserve Deputy Nathanial Dewsbury after a motion from Commissioner Dwayne Faust and a second from Commissioner David Hildebrand. The action was recorded as approved with all present voting Aye.
Commissioner Robert (Bobby) Urbanosky moved, and Commissioner Vincent Svec seconded, approval of a Texas A&M AgriLife Extension field agreement as presented in meeting attachments. The court approved the agreement unanimously.
On elections administration, Commissioner Vincent Svec moved and Commissioner Robert (Bobby) Urbanosky seconded a resolution described in the meeting materials as supporting successful countywide polling centers (vote centers); the court approved the resolution with a unanimous vote.
