Burleson County commissioners unanimously approve canvass of constitutional amendment election results

Burleson County Commissioners Court members unanimously approved a motion to canvass the results of the constitutional amendment election during a special meeting on Nov. 16, 2023, in the Burleson County Courthouse in Caldwell.
Judge Keith Schroeder presided over the meeting attended by Commissioners Dwayne Faust (Precinct 1), Vincent Svec (Precinct 2) and David Hildebrand (Precinct 3), and County Clerk Anna L. Schielack. Commissioner David Hildebrand made the motion "to Approve and Act upon Canvassing the Constitutional Amendment Election Results," which Commissioner Dwayne Faust seconded. The court recorded all votes as "Aye;" none voted "No." The motion carried.
Immediately following the canvass motion, Commissioner Hildebrand moved to adjourn the meeting; Commissioner Faust seconded. The court again voted unanimously to adjourn, and the special meeting concluded.
The meeting minutes and attestation are signed by County Clerk Anna L. Schielack as the ex-officio clerk of the Commissioners Court.
