Project Snip reports spay/neuter totals; BVCOG invites officials to Active Shooter training

During public forum Diana A. Yarzagaray of Project Snip said the group has spayed/neutered 112 dogs and 138 cats since January; Kagan Baldree of BVCOG invited elected officials to an Active Shooter Course Oct. 9–11 at the Brazos Center.
At the beginning of the Sept. 25 meeting, members of the public addressed the commissioners during the public forum.
Diana A. Yarzagaray, representing Project Snip, reported that "they have spayed and neutered 112 dogs and 138 cats since January 2023." She presented those service totals to the court as part of Project Snip's community animal-health work.
Kagan Baldree with the Brazos Valley Council of Governments (BVCOG) invited elected officials to an Active Shooter Course "Led by Threat Suppression," scheduled for Oct. 9–11, 2023 at the Brazos Center in Bryan and hosted and sponsored by BVRAC. The invitation was informational; no formal court action was recorded on the training invitation.
