The court also approved a financing resolution and agreement with Government Capital Corporation to purchase a new motor grader for Road & Bridge Precinct 4 at $322,400 after a motion by Commissioner Urbanosky and a second by Commissioner Svec.
Commissioner David Hildebrand moved and Commissioner Vincent Svec seconded authorization to issue a Request for Proposals for jail food services; the court voted unanimously to proceed. Other approved items during the business portion of the agenda included a Hotel/Motel funding application for the Burleson County Kolache Bake Show, a mass gathering permit for Elizabeth Lutheran Church for July 3, and purchase of a Property Alert add‑on to KOFILE‑GovOS for records search/notification. The court also authorized ditch cleaning on County Road 130 with disposal of excess materials on an adjacent property owner’s land, accepted routine treasurer and auditor information, authorized payment of bills, and adjourned.
