Interim County Manager Ellen White provided multiple operational updates during the Feb. 9 Quay County commission meeting in Tucumcari.
White said a recurring Zoom support session has been scheduled for all county employees on Wednesdays from 5:10 p.m. to 5:40 p.m.; employees were instructed they may email 'Daniel' at his county address and copy White for issues requiring help outside the session. She reported a vehicle-leasing and maintenance review meeting took place Feb. 4 and that she and Daniel will meet with Stantec later that day at 5 p.m. to discuss the Hospital RFP.
Jamie Luader, TQRECC Director, told commissioners an RFP for renovation of the dispatch center will be issued this week; he projected a March 26 bid deadline and an April 20 contract award date. White said Bill Kardokus organized a Feb. 10 meeting with an AT&T representative for department heads to discuss county phones, IPRA inquiries involving phones and upgrades; she also said Kardokus will host the Local Emergency Planning Committee meeting Feb. 11 at 9 a.m.
White and Quay County Detention Center Administrator Georgia Gallegos ordered a dryer for the Detention Center, and work will begin on the Mis Amigo Building roof, she said. The items were presented as manager updates and no separate board action was recorded.
