Saundra Leininger presented the Historic Preservation Commission annual report to the Adams County Board of Supervisors; Supervisor Leland Shipley moved, seconded by Bobbi Maynes, to approve the report and the board voted unanimously.
During department reports, Veterans Affairs staff reported they are not pursuing a 28E agreement with Taylor County at this time and are in the process of hiring their own director. Treasurer Schafer said March property tax payments have started to arrive. The auditor reported deputizing Kandi Miller and said township clerks and trustees are completing payroll paperwork as staff continue work on the county budget. The auditor also recorded the filing period for the primary election as March 2โ20.
Supervisors then provided committee updates including budget work sessions, Main Street activities, ACEDC and DECAT participation. The items were presented as informational updates and did not require board action.
