Ottawa County commissioners approve claims, resale deeds and budget transfers in routine Nov. 17 session

The Ottawa County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 17 approved a large register of vendor claims and a series of routine financial and property items during its regular session at the Ottawa County Courthouse.
On a motion by Commissioner Robert Clark and a second by Commissioner Scott Hilton, the board approved claims for fiscal year 2025–2026 that included a bond payment to BANCFIRST for $33,620.37 and multiple vendor payments for inmate nutrition, utilities, maintenance contracts, and equipment. The minutes list numerous individual claims approved by the board.
The board also approved the County purchase card payment, blanket purchase orders numbered #1983–1999, and a cash-balance summary report from the Ottawa Court Clerk for October. The transfers of appropriations approved were Account #1102-4100-4363 to #1313-6-8041-2005 for $49,976.28 and Account #11026-4100-4303 to #1313-6-8041-2005 for $56,224.15; each motion was moved by Clark, seconded by Hilton and carried unanimously.
On property matters, the board approved a corrected resale county deed reselling a parcel (Lots 3–4, Block 79, Original Plat 1) to Kathy Wethey. The board also approved the transcript of proceedings and the county deed for a resale sale to Lindsey and Remijio Villarreal for $5.00 covering Lots 29–30, Block 8, Frisco-Miami Addition. The minutes record the sale amount as $5.00.
Commissioners provided brief activity reports: District 1 thanked the Miami Leadership Group for a county tour, and Districts 2 and 3 reported routine maintenance. The meeting concluded after the board unanimously voted to adjourn.
