Pittsburg County commissioners approve surplus declarations, appointments and contracts

The Pittsburg County Board of County Commissioners met Feb. 23, 2026, in McAlester and unanimously approved a series of routine resolutions and fiscal items, accepted a $7,600 donation from the Choctaw Nation and renewed a maintenance contract for election equipment.

The meeting opened at 9 a.m. and, after roll call, the board approved the Feb. 17, 2026 minutes and the day’s agenda.
