After returning from closed session the Franklin County Fiscal Court authorized hiring Belinda Dimas as a grant writer; the motion passed unanimously.
The court approved the re-appointment of Marcia Garland to the Franklin County Ethics Commission with a term ending Jan. 1, 2027. The motion passed by a 6–1 vote; Squire Sherry Sebastian voted in opposition. The court removed from the agenda the item to re-appoint Charles Smith to the Ethics Commission (term ending Nov. 5, 2028). The court also approved appointment of Robert Hecker to the Paul Sawyier Public Library Board of Trustees for a term ending June 30, 2025; that motion passed unanimously.
