Fleming County Dispatch Director Charlotte Benton told the Fiscal Court that dispatch received 573 requests for service in September and discussed recent wrecker service applications for the county rotation, noting applicants must post a $100,000 performance bond and provide proof of insurance.

Fleming County EMS representative Colton McCann was present to answer questions about the monthly report; court members commended EMS staff and the EMS director for recent efforts.
The court approved purchase and payment for a new audio/video system for the courtroom from Sweetwater Music with installation by Tony Rucker; the original quote was $7,312.50. County Judge/Executive Larry H. Foxworthy also informed the court that asphalt availability and production were down because of mechanical issues at the batch plant, which will delay paving projects this season.
Separately, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet has requested a review of the current county road maintenance map; an audit is underway and the court expects to adopt a newly revised county road map by resolution after the audit is complete.
