Key approvals and actions included: approval of the Oct. 12 meeting minutes; amendment to Dec. 10, 2019 minutes to correct an appointment expiration; appointment of Lynda Skaggs to the Fleming County Board of Health for a term from Jan. 1, 2022, to Dec. 31, 2023; procurement actions for sealed bids for janitorial services and road department trucks; renewal of RCS siren maintenance and CBTS phone-system maintenance contracts; approval of HMC Services addendum to inspect judicial center pit pumps; approval of the County Treasurer’s month-end financial reports showing total funds of $4,037,312.38; approval of budget and cash transfers and claims reports; approval of sheriff reports and the sheriff’s 2022 budget, advancement payoff request of $125,000, statement of advancement and annual salary order; approval of payroll issuance dates for November and December; appointment of seasonal road employee Kenny Vise at $14.27 per hour; approval of the County Road Maintenance Report totaling $434,142.69 for October; approval of the County Clerk’s and Jailer’s reports; rescission of bond requirements for local wrecker services; and adjournment at 11:18 a.m.
The court also approved second reading and passage of amendments to Ordinance 13-1150 to adopt the Title VI Implementation Plan and to update procedures for requesting public records under KRS 61.870–61.884.
What happens next: Most items are routine approvals with actions for staff to carry out procurements, contract renewals and administrative follow-up. The minutes record a separate special call meeting for Nov. 22 to finalize ARPA premium-pay decisions.
