Fleming County Fiscal Court approves $3.96 million in accounts, affirms ARPA use and advances budget amendment

Fleming County Fiscal Court unanimously approved county financial reports and a series of budget actions at its Dec. 14 meeting.
County Treasurer Kathy Dryden presented month-end financials for Nov. 30, 2021, reporting total county funds of $3,963,081.15, including an ARPA Fund balance of $1,130,482.48. The court approved the treasurer’s report by unanimous motion.
The court approved budget transfers and cash transfers as presented by Dryden, including polled cash transfers effective Dec. 8, 2021. It also approved Resolution 21-1350 reaffirming the use of ARPA funds and gave the first reading to Ordinance 21-1351, a budget amendment presented by Dryden; both actions passed unanimously.
Other financial actions included approval of claims and carry-in claims and acceptance of the November 2021 County Road Maintenance Reports totaling $264,606.03. The court also approved a polled decision to declare a 2012 Ford (VIN 0670) surplus and use it as trade-in toward a 2020 Chevy (VIN 1016).
