Fleming County Fiscal Court approves budget transfers, bank change and routine reports

At its Feb. 8 meeting, the Fleming County Fiscal Court approved the County Treasurer's month-end financial report showing total county funds of $3,809,341.72 across General, Road, Dispatch, ARPA and other funds. Treasurer Kathy Dryden presented the report and the court voted unanimously to accept it.
The court approved budget transfers and cash transfers as presented, and approved claims and carry-in claims reports submitted by Fiscal Court Clerk Tammy L. Gray. The court also approved changing county bank accounts to Peoples Bank effective March 1, 2022, and changed the Revolving Loan Fund name to CDBG Fund. The court set the county's total credit card limit at $10,000.
Treasurer Dryden read the first reading of Ordinance 22-1353, a budget amendment; the court approved the first reading. Fleming County Clerk (presented by Fritz) and the Fleming County Sheriff (presented by Kinder) each provided monthly and quarterly reports, which the court approved by motion and unanimous vote.
These approvals complete routine administrative and fiscal housekeeping and authorize staff to implement transfers, update bank relationships and proceed with budget-amendment steps. The court recorded unanimous votes on the listed motions.
