Fleming County Fiscal Court on May 10 approved the purchase of Lot 7 in the Hyatt Development for the county Senior Center project and authorized construction payments.
Magistrates voted unanimously to buy Lot 7 for $96,150 from the Capital Improvement Fund and to pay all closing costs associated with the property purchases. The court also approved Pay Request #2 to Brandstetter Carroll for $50,223 to continue project work.
County financial reports presented earlier by County Treasurer Kathy Dryden showed the Capital Improvement Fund balance available to support the purchase. Motions approving the purchase and the pay request were made and passed by unanimous vote (purchase motion moved by Richie Kielman; pay request motion moved by David J. DeAtley).
