The Pittsburg County Economic Development Authority met in special session on Jan. 27, 2026, in the County Commissioners Conference Room at the Pittsburg County Courthouse. Chairman Charlie Rogers called the meeting to order at 10:30 a.m. after notice was posted on Jan. 23 under the Oklahoma Open Meeting Act (25 O.S. Sec. 301, et seq.).
Trustee Ross Selman moved to approve the meeting agenda; Trustee Mike Haynes seconded, and the board voted unanimously to approve the agenda. The board then approved the minutes from its Jan. 20 regular meeting on a motion by Selman, seconded by Haynes, with all trustees voting aye.
Trustee Ross Selman moved to acknowledge and approve all claims and fiscal transactions issued by the Economic Development Authority and approved by the Board of County Commissioners; Trustee Charlie Rogers seconded. The motion carried unanimously. The meeting record and accompanying purchase-order printout show Econ Dev Trust expenditures for fiscal year 2025โ2026 totaling $1,584.53, including charges to Amazon Capital Services Inc., Kays Meat Processing, Broken Arrow Electric Supply and SGC Foodservice.
With no unfinished business or additional agenda items, Selman moved to adjourn; Haynes seconded and the trustees voted to adjourn the special session.
The meeting record was filed by County Clerk Hope Trammell. No votes failed and no motions were tabled. The minutes indicate routine procedural business only; no policy decisions, appointments or contested items were on the agenda.
