Ross Selman, vice‑chairman, moved to approve the agenda; Mike Haynes seconded. The authority voted aye: Charlie Rogers, Ross Selman and Mike Haynes.
During the meeting the trustees also approved the minutes from the Dec. 22, 2025 regular meeting. Ross Selman moved to approve the minutes; Charlie Rogers seconded and the motion passed unanimously. The board then moved to acknowledge all claims and fiscal transactions previously issued by the Economic Development Authority and approved by the Board of County Commissioners; Selman moved, Rogers seconded, and the vote was unanimous.
Under new business, Chairman Charlie Rogers said the county racetrack needs a second turnaround to lengthen the course and allow vehicles more distance to slow down.
