Representatives of the Heart of Oklahoma Corvette Car Show told Pittsburg County commissioners Dec. 29 that the 2025 event brought roughly $135,000 in local economic activity and attracted entries from seven states, organizers said.
Diane Dunbar and David Finley described the show’s charitable beneficiaries (McAlester Regional Foundation, Autism Oklahoma and the Tyler Buck Foundation in 2025; planned 2026 charities include Autism Oklahoma and the Sgt. Miles Tarron Foundation) and said they aim to add Thursday events in 2026 to promote local attractions. Finley said the group considers McAlester a destination site and hopes to expand related programming.
Commissioners thanked organizers for the update. No formal action was required by the board on the presentation.
