The Pittsburg County Economic Development Authority met on Nov. 24, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. in the County Commissioners Conference Room at the Pittsburg County Courthouse in McAlester. Chairman Charlie Rogers called the meeting to order; Trustee Mike Haynes was recorded absent.
The authority approved the meeting agenda after a motion from Chairman Charlie Rogers and a second from Vice-Chairman Ross Selman. The board then approved the minutes from its Nov. 17 regular meeting on a motion by Ross Selman, seconded by Charlie Rogers. All motions carried with the two present trustees voting aye and no nays recorded.
The board next acknowledged and approved claims and fiscal transactions issued by the Economic Development Authority and approved by the Board of County Commissioners. The purchase order summary for the Economic Development Trust totaled $2,026.12 and included line items to Bemac Supply ($7.54), Jamesco Enterprises LLC ($687.52), KellPro ($482.01), Oklahoma State Athletic Commission ($232.27) and ACC Business ($616.78). The motion to approve the claims was made by Chairman Rogers and seconded by Vice-Chairman Selman; the motion passed unanimously among those present.
There was no unfinished business and no new business reported under the agenda item for unforeseen matters. Chairman Rogers moved to adjourn; Vice-Chairman Selman seconded, and the meeting was adjourned.
