Pittsburg County approves property appraisal, Invex subscriptions and a cab substitution for Arrowhead fire apparatus

Pittsburg County commissioners approved several administrative items and procurement-related resolutions during the Nov. 24 meeting.
The board approved an appraisal of county-owned real property described as Lot 2 and the east half of Lot 3, Block 4, Canadian, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma, with an opinion of value of $42,000. The appraisal report in the record is dated Nov. 14, 2025 and was prepared by certified residential appraiser Marcie Arnold of 4 Seasons Appraisal, LLC.
Commissioners also approved subscription agreements for Invex Inventory on Demand for District 1 and District 2 at $3,000 per district. The county record contains a one-year subscription agreement that allows up to 30 users per account and notes the subscription price is $3,000 per district; IBEX (Invex) retains a right to store and, in certain conditions, share the collected data with local, state or federal agencies.
The board approved a renewal maintenance contract proposal from Miller Office Equipment for District 3; the vendor-provided renewal form included contract terms and an annual billing rate and stated that returning the signed renewal would constitute agreement.
On procurement for fire apparatus, the board approved Resolution 26-132 to allow a substitution for Bid No. 2025-1 (one Quick Attack wildlands fire apparatus for Arrowhead Estates Fire Department). The substitution changes the chassis/cab specification from an 84" cab-to-axle regular cab to an extended cab 60" cab-to-axle chassis. Meeting documents show the vendor (Banner Fire Equipment) and a vendor representative describing the technical mismatch in the original build and offering the alternative extended-cab chassis with a $1,000 credit; the resolution and an Arrowhead Estates letter in the record indicate the local department supports the substitution to get the unit delivered faster. The minutes reflect the board approved the substitution.
Additional administrative actions recorded included Resolution 26-131 (canceling purchase order 3700), approval of a small donation to the animal shelter (resolution 26-133), and opening bids for a 1993 American General vehicle (one bid was recorded and tabled for review).
