At the end of the Snowflake council meeting on May 3, resident Traci Daugherty asked the town to improve and maintain W Rencher Road, where she lives at 4715 W Rencher Rd. She said two culverts had been installed but problems persist and noted nine additional houses are being developed on the road. Daugherty asked for quarterly grading, adequate gravel and a double chip-seal surface to bring the road “to standard.”
Brian Richards, a town staff member, responded that the town had already committed to maintenance on that road. Councilmember Lynn Johnson asked staff to place the issue on the next council agenda so the topic can be discussed in more detail and staff can provide context and background for residents.
The minutes record the Call to the Public was reopened at a citizen's request and that council approved reopening the public comment period by motion earlier in the meeting.
